Atif Wasim Haneef Mohamed, MD completed his medical degree from Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Pondicherry, India. He completed his Radiology residency training at Apollo Specialty Hospital, Chennai, India in 2013.
He joined as a general radiologist at Al-Wakra hospital (Hamad Medical Corporation), Qatar, before joining the UAB Radiology Department as a fellow in July 2016. Dr. Atif completed two years of Neuroradiology fellowship at UAB and joined the faculty in 2018. His clinical interests are stroke imaging and neurodegenerative disorders.
