Taryn Temples joined the UAB School of Nursing in January 2017. Prior to her faculty role, she cared for some of our tiniest, most vulnerable patients and their families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for 10 years as a staff nurse and Clinical Coordinator. She is certified in NICU nursing and is a regional Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Instructor Mentor for the state of Alabama. As a Certified Nurse Educator, she also serves on the Academy of Neonatal Nursing's Education Committee. Her academic focus is on Maternal-Child Health nursing and foundational clinical skills. She teaches in the Undergraduate Pre-Licensure Programs.
