Overview

  • Dr. Parekh's clinical research focuses on the health outcomes and healthcare utilization of the COPD population. Her interests include identifying specific social determinants of health that lead to adverse health outcomes, increased healthcare costs, and health related disparities. She is also interested in community based interventions, such as community health workers, that may help improve the burden of disease in COPD patients.
