Overview

  • Tracy Hwangpo , MD/PhD, is an Instructor of Medicine in the Division of Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology. She completed her Internal medicine residency and fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in immunology through the T32 Immunology training grant during her fellowship training. She received her medical degree and doctor of philosophy through the Medical Scientist Training Program at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York.

Dr. Hwangpo joined UAB faculty in 2014. She practices clinical immunology and treats full spectrum of primary immunodeficiency including a spectrum of antibody deficiencies, CGD, hyper IgE syndrome, and idiopathic CD4 lymphopenia. She is actively involved in teaching activities of fellows and medical residents at UAB.
