Overview

Dr. Tedra S. Smith is a pediatric nurse practitioner with a specialization in primary care. She has more than 13 years of experience as a pediatric nurse including primary, emergency and preanesthesia care. Her interest includes utilizing simulation as a pediatric clinical rotation to enhance communication with children and their caregivers. This also includes using simulation to decrease student anxiety related to caring for pediatric patients.
