Overview

  • Dr. Sarah MacCarthy is the inaugural holder of the Magic City LGBTQ Health Studies Endowed Professorship. Dr. MacCarthy has more than 10 years' experience in applying systematic mixed-methods research to address the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ adults. She received her masters and doctorate from the Harvard School of Public Health and completed postdoctoral training from Brown University.
