As a nurse with more than 40 years experience, Ms. Hamilton has had the privilege of watching the profession change in exciting and positive ways. She has worked in several fields in nursing, including critical care nursing, staff development, as a nursing supervisor, director of nursing, home health care, Adult Down syndrome clinic supervisor, school nurse and, in her current position as Instructor in the UAB School of Nursing. She has enjoyed each position and strives to share that passion with students.
