Overview

  • Dr. Bodduluri received his MS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2016. He joined the pulmonary division as a research associate in 2016 under the mentorship of Dr. Surya Bhatt at the UAB Lung Imaging Core. Dr. Bodduluri’s research interest is to develop imaging solutions towards understanding the pathophysiology of pulmonary diseases using computer vision and machine learning approaches.

    Research Overview

  • His research currently focuses on developing novel CT image-based metrics to phenotype COPD. Dr. Bodduluri is an active member of American Thoracic Society (ATS), European Respiratory Society (ERS), Society of Photographic Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE) and Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES).
