One case of cavernous hemangioma of the kidney is reported. The patient had the typical history of flank pain and hematuria of brief duration. The angiographic features differ from the findings reported in other renal hemangiomas. The hypovascular pattern is attributed to the cavernous venous lakes present in this tumor compared to the arterial or capillary networks present in the others, which produce the classic hypervascular appearance.
