Academic Article

  • Twenty-six cases of Kaposi's sarcoma (KS) were recorded by the New South Wales Central Cancer Registry between 1972 and 1982, prior to the first AIDS diagnoses in Australia. The overall annual incidence was 0.47 per million. Incidence was three times higher in males. The highest incidence was in people born in the Middle East and in males born in southern and eastern Europe. © Macmillan Press Ltd., 1994.
