The free scapular flap is a versatile flap for soft tissue and bony reconstruction of the head and neck. It has a very reliable blood supply and is easy to harvest. In this paper, we present our cumulative experience with the use of five cutaneous flaps and 31 osteocutaneous flaps. © 1990.
