A case of nonimmune hydrops fetalis associated with a supraventricular tachycardia was successfully treated with digoxin and verapamil. After resolution of the hydropic changes, however, the fetus unexplainedly died. Side effects from the drug therapy may have been responsible for the event. © 1988, C. V. Mosby Company.
