We report a case of diffuse large cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma with concomitant lupus anticoagulant at initial diagnosis. Progressive thrombosis occurred despite radiologically proven response of the lymphoma after chemotherapy treatment. Extraordinary bone scintigraphy with multiple "cold" lesions probably due to bone ischemia is described. © 1996 Harwood Academic Publishers GmbH.
