Abstract
Bioassay guided fractionation of the cytotoxic crude extract from the antarctic sponge Leucetta leptorhapsis has resulted in the isolation of rhapsamine (1), a linear C28 polyene terminally substituted by 1,3-diaminoglycerol groups.
