    Research Overview

  • Weight regain following weight loss occurs frequently and results from a host of biological and metabolic responses designed to defend body weight. My laboratory is especially interested in novel exercise and dietary approaches to attenuate reductions in components of energy expenditure that accompany weight loss. Our current projects are primarily focused on the role of ketone ester and ketone salt supplementation on body weight and adiposity reductions.
