Nohel Zaman is Assistant Professor of Management, Information Systems and Quantitative Methods in the Collat School of Business at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He received his Ph.D. in Business Information Technology from Virginia Tech. He earned a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration with M.Sc. degrees in Economics from University of Texas at Dallas and Computational Science and Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University. His research interests delve in the field of business analytics, text mining, product safety concerns, and hospital services. He has published papers in Decision Sciences, Decision Support Systems, Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology, Risk Analysis, and others.
