• Dr. Ver Hoef completed his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering at Virginia Tech and attended medical school at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he then became a faculty member at the UAB Epilepsy Center. He is board certified in Neurology (ABPN), Neuroimaging (UCNS), and Epilepsy (ABPN). He has a secondary appointment in Biomedical Engineering. He collaborates with the Auburn University MRI Research Center and is active in the Alabama Advanced Imaging Consortium and the Civitan International Neuroimaging Laboratory.
