Scholarship

Scholarly work is attained through a variety of mechanisms (publications, presentation, and grants) and this work requires much time and dedication; however there are always new opportunities that keep the pursuits of collaborative endeavors fresh and rewarding. I enjoy working with diverse colleagues and on a variety of topics related to health behaviors.

Service

Service to profession of health education and to services of others must be at the forefront of one's regular decisions as a scholar. I have opted to serve nationally and in several capacities with my most recent work being for the American College Health Association and the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing.

Personal

Away from my career in academia, I am quite normal. I like to spend time with my family; especially my daughter and to take her to all sorts of events and new places. I am a sports fan and love basketball.
