• Dr. Triebel joined the faculty in 2008 after completing a two-year postdoctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology at UAB. She is board certified in clinical neuropsychology. Her clinical work involves neuropsychological evaluation of adults and older adults with a wide variety of neurological disorders, with a specialty focus in cancer, dementia, and movement disorders (including DBS pre-surgical evaluations). Dr. Triebel is also involved in educating graduate students, interns, and postdoctoral fellows in neuropsychology. She has served as Chair on dissertation committees and provides clinical and research supervision to predoctoral trainees, interns, and postdoctoral fellows. She is the Secretary Elect and member of the board of directors of the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN). She currently serves NAN as the Chair of the Membership Committee and Professional Member Advisor of the Student Membership Committee.
