• James R. Bonner, MD, completed his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1971. This was followed with his medical residency training at the University of Alabama Medical Center. Dr. Bonner has practiced medicine in the field of allergy and immunology for over 40 years and held membership in many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. In addition to his work with UAB, Dr. Bonner is affiliated with Brookwood Medical Center, Children's of Alabama, and St. Vincent's Birmingham.
