Caleb Houston is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His research and teaching focuses on topics in corporate finance and investments. He has taught numerous sections including: Fundamentals of Corporate Finance, International Financial Management, and Financial Markets and Institutions. He seeks to engage students by teaching from a perspective that is relevant and provides necessary information for operating in the business sector. Outside of the classroom, his aim is to continuously produce high quality research by focusing on (1) analyzing insider trading behavior, (2) their effect on the market, and (3) SEC enforcement measures.
