Overview

  • Dr. Diane Lawong is an Assistant Professor in the Management, Information Systems & Quantitative Methods Department at the UAB Collat School of Business. She earned two bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Health Sciences from Cleveland State University, a master’s degree in business with a concentration in Labor Relations and Human Resources from Cleveland State University, and a doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from Florida State University. She teaches courses in leadership, management, organizational behavior, and talent development. She is a member of the Academy of Management Association, Southern Management Association, and Management Faculty of Color Association. Her research is presented at the conferences associated with these management organizations and her work has won several academy and Literati awards.
