Ms. Cartledge is an Instructor in the Acute, Chronic and Continuing Care Department of the School of Nursing at The University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is currently the Operations Manager of the Nursing Competency Suites. She has a background in medical-surgical nursing, cardiology, dermatology, and gynecology/oncology. She developed a passion for education early in her nursing career and graduated from the Nurse Educator program at UAB School of Nursing in 2016 and later finished her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree at the UAB School of Nursing in 2018. She joined the UAB School of Nursing as full-time faculty in May 2017.
