Overview

Cathy Roche, PhD, RN, is an Assistant Professor at the UAB School of Nursing. Her research interests involve developing, implementing and evaluating recruitment and retention strategies to enhance participation in clinical trials. Dr. Roche has over 17 years of research experience developing strategies to enhance participation in large, long-term, multi-center studies, such as the Action for Health in Diabetes (LookAHEAD) Study and the Coronary Artery Risk Development in Young Adults (CARDIA) Study.
