Christopher Eidson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy and a Faculty Scholar in UAB’s Center for Interprofessional Education and Simulation. He is a certified by the Team-Based Learning Collaborative as a consultant trainer in team-based learning.
Mr. Eidson teaches in the entry-level and master’s Occupational Therapy programs and serves as an academic advisor for entry-level students. He also teaches in practice courses and in non-foundational courses focused on evidenced-based practice, policy, and emerging practice. He is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association and the Alabama Occupational Therapy Association and is the Alabama State Ambassador for the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
His research is pedagogical in nature, pertaining directly to teaching and learning or to content specific to the coursework he teaches.
