• Dr. Blessing Falola is Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine. She is board-certified in General Psychiatry, and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry, with a focused interest in the transitional age youth and college mental health. Dr. Falola provides collaborative and evidence-based psychiatric care in her role as the UAB Student Health Psychiatrist. She engages her teaching passion through active involvement in the medical student, resident, and fellow education. She developed and implemented simulation lab curricula for psychiatry trainees, and other interprofessional trainees. She has received the Faculty Teaching Award from UAB Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Division.
