Dr. Orozco Hernandez completed his training in Mexico and was board certified for Consejo Nacional Cirugia de Torax with the highest honors. He has been an active surgeon in all the areas of cardiovascular and lung disease, including adult heart surgery, congenital surgery, vascular and endovascular surgery, chest wall surgery and tracheal and lung surgery. He completed a fellowship at Arizona Heart Hospital in vascular and endovascular surgery and a fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago in mechanical circulatory support and heart transplant.
Hernandez is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons, European Association of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Sociedad Mexicana de Cirugia Cardiaca, Sociedad Mexicana de Neumologia y Cirugia de Torax y Sociedad Mexicana de Cirujanos Toracicos Generales.
