Dr. Savage has interest in adolescent health and wellness including substance use prevention and treatment, disordered eating, and other complicated psychosocial issues. In addition to specialization in addiction and eating disorders, she practices primary care pediatrics and adolescent and young adult medicine. She teaches students and residents within the UAB School of Public Health and the UAB Department of Pediatrics. She currently works at UAB Student Health and Wellness Center as a clinician and educator. She is involved with UAB Wellness Promotion in its efforts to educate students and families on alcohol and other drugs.
