Thematically, my research is motivated by how the quality/cost tradeoff is defined, operationalized, and implemented in healthcare. Methodologically, my work employs econometric and causal inference methods. Prior to joining the School of Health Professions, I also contributed to healthcare quality and patient safety projects at Johns Hopkins University and the World Health Organization.
