Mrs. Ponder graduated from UAB with her BSN in 1990 and brings more than 20 years critical care nursing experience to the classroom and clinical settings. She earned her Masters in Nursing Education at Samford University in 2009. Mrs. Ponder began her teaching career as a clinical instructor with ADN programs and began teaching full time at UAB in 2009. She still maintains active involvement with bedside nursing by working in the Critical Care Staffing Pool at UAB.
