Though Ms. Alice Bristow came to nursing later in life, she has enjoyed numerous opportunities for professional growth, both in education and practice. As an instructor for family nurse practitioner students, she views her role as educator, coach, advocate, encourager, and sometimes comforter. "The nursing students at UAB are among the most capable in the nation, and are our greatest resource - both at the university level and for the future of nursing."
